Computac’s EDI Module is much more than a conventional EDI translator. It is a complete suite of software for creating, transmitting, receiving, managing and tracking EDI documents. It contains the tools needed to fine-tune EDI invoicing, from EDI document editing, to document review, to document selection. The system design is comprehensive and can convert invoices, returns, change notices, statements, purchase orders, and title catalogues into the EDI format.

Computac’s EDI system accumulates data each time an invoice/reorder is run and each time dealer returns are processed. This data can then be transformed into an EDI document by pressing a function key. After an EDI file is created, it can be transmitted immediately to the trading partner. The EDI History module, which is integrated with EDI, provides complete history of each file and flags the invoices that have been acknowledged by the Retailer.
